2. Filthy Condenser Coils

Your condenser coil is responsible for moving the heat extracted from the air in your home to the outside. However, as the coil accumulates dust and dirt, it operates less efficiently. If left for too long, the coil can erode and require complete replacement.
3. Compressor Wear and Tear
Your compressor is responsible for pumping refrigerant throughout your air conditioning system. If it wears out, you'll have a large and costly replacement on your hands. Avoid excessive use by leveraging a smart thermostat and ensuring you aren't cooling air when no one is home. And keep it running properly with routine check-ups and system maintenance.
